The Dangers of an Idle Mind

Something occurred to me the other day as I was prepping to clean bathrooms. It's a conflation of a pair of quotes, twisted by a mind that for once has been getting enough sleep.

I have become bleach, destroyer of molds.
Look upon my works ye musty, and despair.

What? I didn't say it was actually good. Extra points if you can identify the proper quotes.

The second line was from Galadriel. I had to google a vague guess on the first to get it, so I'll leave that for someone else.

Nice try, and it does come from someone English, but not Tolkien. Think poetry with the theme of hubris. (Much like the hubris that leads one to believe he might actually conquer fungi in the bathroom.)
