It's a Sci-Fi World, We Just Live in It

Normally, I wouldn't post a blog link that didn't feature a source for the information. This time, however, I will note the potential usefulness of a home appliance that condenses water vapor from the air to create drinking water. The Mars rover Spirit has reached its five year anniversary on the red planet. Opportunity's will follow later this month. Not bad for a couple of devices with an operating lifetime design of three months. They may be cold and dusty with some joints that don't work so well anymore, but they are still on the job.
